Credlocity, is still pushing the limits for consumer credit repair

(Press Release)

Credlocity has been described by NYBusinesstimes.com to be “Emerging as the top credit repair company” and this is for obvious reasons.

Founder, Joeziel Joey Vazquez, says that its “important customers and potential customers trust us, so we use methods and promises that no one else in the industry uses, including 100% money-back guarantee, 30 day free trial, and no contract promise.”

Doing a search we found that no other credit repair company offers a combination of the 3 and no other credit repair company offers a 30 day free trial.

After speaking to Joeziel he expressed his desire to shake up the Credit Repair industry with more services like a DIY style option for customers, and free credit monitoring for his clients in a credit karma styled app.

Credlocity makes videos warning consumers not to pay for any credit repair services if they are being charged up front for services. And that is because he says “it's a violation of federal law, more specifically the Credit Repair Organizations Act” which is enforced by the FTC and CFPB.The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau also confirms what Credlocity warns consumers to follow a “simple rule to follow is ‘Don’t pay upfront.’”

Credlocity warns that paying up front is a sign of a scam even if it's from the bigger credit repair companies like the two giants (Lexingtonlaw, and Credit repair dot com).

“The FTC has brought scores of law enforcement actions against these bogus credit-related services, and the agency has partnered with the states to bring hundreds of additional lawsuits. Further, in 2010, the FTC amended its Telemarketing Sales Rule to protect consumers seeking debt relief services, like debt settlement or credit counseling. The Rule prohibits for-profit companies that sell these services over the telephone from charging a fee before they actually settle or reduce a consumer's debt. It also prohibits debt relief providers from making misrepresentations and requires that they disclose key information that consumers need in evaluating these services.” - Federal Trade Commission Website.

As Credlocity fights for its number one spot in the Credit Repair arena, they still must contend to the fact that LexingtonLaw and Credit Repair .dot com, are the two credit repair giants that control a majority of the United States Credit Repair market. The two giants have faced government initiated lawsuits for violating the Telephone Consumer Protect Rule, and the Credit Repair Organizations Act. It’s alleged that they charged customers up front for services which goes against the Telephone Consumer Protect Rule, and the Credit Repair Organizations Act.

The act states: “No credit repair organization may charge or receive any money…for the performance of any service which the credit repair organization has agreed to perform for any consumer before such service is fully performed”. Credlocity advises consumers that they should be checking around for reviews and making sure that the reviews are real. Reviews in general do help consumers make better decisions, especially when it involves something so important like finances and credit.

While both credit repair giants take advantage of consumers by charging fees up front, Credlocity takes the approach of not charging for services up front and offering a free 30 day trial. Credlocity also checks negative reviews from customers of the two giant posts so that he can try and right the wrong that was done to them.

Credlocity also offers free guidance on credit repair with some template examples of dispute letters. Although in general you can't get free credit repair Credlocity goes out of the way to make it as easy and free as possible for the general consumer.

All in all we think Credlocity is the best credit repair company. They are a family, and minority owned business that started because the CEO himself has suffered from dings on his credit.

Notable would be their impressive 5 star Google rating, 5 Star BestCompany rating, and 5 Star Yelp rating.
